Libsyn Subscribtion – No More

Alright, everyone. I am coming to you from a small cabin up in the woods of Nowhere to tell you that the Podcast element of this “production company” is on indefinite hiatus. I do not have the time nor the money to keep the podcast up and running along with college and other aspects of my life.

Do not fear. I will still be making videos for my YouTube channel, which can be found here. This is mostly because it is free, and I may yet find ways to do the kinds of things that I used to do on the podcast.

So untill I have more drive and purpose for podcasting, I am shutting it down. I don’t know how long the episodes will still be up.

Blake Back in Black? Big things on the horizen…

Ok, now I normally don’t get all hyped up about the new Anita Blake novel. I pretty much stopped reading in the middle of Blue Moon, and I won’t go into the details. If you’re a fan, then you’ll know why. But there was something about this new piece of news that made me want to jump out of my chair and yell with excitement – waking up my suite mates in the process.

Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter is apparently good to go on a made-for-TV movie

This is big news. But is it big enough to garner a sufficient amount of interest from the viewers? Some people wrote on their facebooks saying how they had never heard of Anita, and that they weren’t sold on the premis given by the producers. While I respect people who don’t give in to all the crap that comes out everyday, you also have to realize that the announcement was only posted today, and there will obviously a PR campaign for this project. Considering the level of fame that Laurell K. Hamilton has gained from her books, this will most deffinetly be handeled very well, considering that the studios working on it are Lionsgate, After Dark Films, and was adapted by Glen Morgan (“X-Files”).

All I’ll say is that I’m interested to see what they come up with, but I don’t have high hopes for it. Just look at waht happened to Watchmen.

Welcome to the Journey!

Subscribe to MDNN Media

Are you confused about Podcasting? Do the mysteries of RSS confound you? Are you sick of missing out on all the fun?

Well, look no further, my friend.

Here at MDNN Media Productions, we dedicate ourselves to dispelling the mysteries and myths around podcasting. We interview the leading names in podcasting and new media to get their spin on things, as well as prominent Podcast Novelist such as J.C. Hutchins and Scott Sigler.

But that’s not all we do. As devout lovers of Science Fiction, Fantasy, Steampunk, Cyberpunk, and a veritable legion of related literature genres, we bring you reviews and musings on title both new and old, of movies, games, and what ever tickles our fancy on the subject.

The BenT One does the bulk of the research on Podcasting, and is known to make a YouTube video from time to time. He is partial to anime, and will occasionally review a good series. He is the main host

The Grim One provides a wholesome, nutty view on his preferred palate of Fiction and Fantasy, but he also has a deep-set love of comic books. That and mead.

The Un-Man is a Scholar, and loves to whip the unsuspecting commoner with his razor sharp wit. He holds the grand title of Never Having Watched The Lord Of The Rings Movies, as he feels that it would ruin his impression of the books. He breathes classic fiction, and delivers essays on the subjects he gleans from the pages.

All in all, we are but a humble and mismatched crew, who are ultimately on a journey to find their true purpose in the Podosphere. We would be honored if you would join our quest, and help us uncover the truth as we find it.

JAP CARTOON PUNDIT BAGGED FOR FRAUD

BLAIRSTOWN, NJ. 3:35 AM EST. In a shocking setback for one of the least-known stars of online manga and anime reviews, Benjamin Clifford was arrested early this morning by federal agents.

Clifford, according to an FBI spokesperson, had systematically sucked psychic energy from his tiny legion of fans by repeatedly promising them a new episode of his podcast, the “Multidimensional Ninja Network,” and then failing to deliver.

“This was not mere laziness or stupidity,” said the spokesman, who remained hooded throughout the press conference, spoke through a distorting microphone, and lurked behind a wall of bulletproof glass. “Clifford’s persona as a groggy, unfocused slacker simply unable to get his shit together together was, in fact, the carefully-constructed mask of an arch-fiend and terrorist. We are also investigating links to Al Qaeda, for whom we believe Clifford may have served as a court jester and batboy, and a possible clandestine biological weapons program in his underwear drawer.”

The FBI said that Clifford will be indicted under the RICO Act on conspiracy charges as well as under a variety of state, federal, and corporate anti-teasing statutes. If convicted on all counts, he faces a life sentence as a human urinal in a Greyhound Bus terminal to be chosen democratically by the cast of American Idol.

Clifford’s lawyer, holding forth at a small go-go bar named “Frooty’s” in Paterson, New Jersey, said that he was not aware of Clifford’s arrest and did not “give two shakes of a rat’s ass what happens to that twisted little procrastinator. I hope they lock him up and throw away the jail.”
